    Chocolates, some of which had turned white...

    Hello Sonia, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry about this incident, but the whitening of pralines can be caused by a variation in temperature. This phenomenon is called fat or sugar blanching. Cocoa butter or sugar migrates from the praline core to the chocolate shell, causing it to whiten. You can still eat these chocolates without any health risk, although they are less aesthetically pleasing.
